CLIs.dev collects no product analytics unless you explicitly allow it. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control always override consent.
What is collected
Anonymous product events: catalog views, search length buckets and result counts, selected filters, CLI detail views, outbound destination type, and install-copy actions. Search text, install commands, names, emails, IP addresses, referrers, URLs, user-agent strings, and form contents are never sent.
How it works
Your consent choice is stored in local storage. After consent, a random anonymous identifier lives only in session storage and disappears when the browser session ends. Events pass through CLIs.dev to a dedicated PostHog project with person profiles, autocapture, heatmaps, performance capture, console capture, and session replay disabled.
